Epsom Soaks are the Best

I’ve been running on and off for a few years now. I run anywhere from 3-5 times a week depending on my training. I’ve ran 10 marathons, 20+ half-marathons and countless other runs.

The one thing I’ve incorporated into my training that has helped me immensely are Epsom soaks.

Soaks are one of the least effortless things you can do that have incredible benefits:

  • Relaxing...I get 20 minutes to myself
  • Recovery...soothes aching muscles
  • Rest...I sleep so much better at night

All it takes is a bath tub, epsom salt, water and 15-20 minutes of your time.         

I just use this cheaper lavendar epsom because 2 cups per bath goes quickly.

These are other ones I would like to try.

Since moving to France, I have not been able to find any ready-made salts I like so I just make my own.   I find it is even better than the store bought ones I've used for years.  With the added bonus of being even more eco-friendly.
